The ACI Foundation announces that it has secured a commitment of $500,000 annually from the American Concrete Institute to use in awarding additional student fellowships and scholarships, funding more concrete research projects, and supporting new industry technologies.

The ACI Foundation’s Concrete Research Council (CRC) seeks to advance the concrete industry through the funding of concrete research projects that further the knowledge and sustainability of concrete materials, construction, and structures. The requirements for the RFP have changed from last year.

The ACI Foundation’s Strategic Development Council (SDC) will host several Technology Showcases at its Technology Forum 42 taking place September 6-7, 2017, in Reston, Virginia, USA.

The ACI Foundation will provide a $50,000 grant to four research projects this year. Projects are vetted and selected by the Foundation's working group on research, the Concrete Research Council.
