ACI Foundation Fellowship and Scholarship Virtual Information Session

The ACI Foundation, along with its Scholarship Council, will be conducting a free virtual information session on the ACI Foundation fellowship and scholarship application process. Meet with ACI Foundation staff and Scholarship Council members for an open discussion on the process and an opportunity to ask questions about the application.

The free information session will take place on October 3, 2024, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. EDT. This event will be hosted on the Zoom Webinar platform. The event link will be sent to attendees after registration.

Changes to Identifying and Funding Research and Innovation

The ACI Foundation has changed its process for identifying and funding research and innovation. To implement these improvements, the ACI Foundation discontinued the Annual Request for Proposals that was managed by the Concrete Research Council. A new process will be used next spring to allocate 2025 program funding.

Several benefits of this change are:

• Balanced support for defined and undefined research;

• Wider input to identify ACI and industry needs; and

• Prioritizing support of critical work and solutions for industry-wide issues.

To stay informed of the process changes, follow the ACI Foundation on its respective social channels or visit www.acifoundation.org.

2024 Appeal Announcement

The ACI Foundation partners with donors to keep the concrete industry at the forefront of technological advances in material composition, design, and construction. Thanks to the generosity of donors, this year, the ACI Foundation funded eight critical research projects, awarded 29 student fellowships, and granted 15 student scholarships. Be a part of creating a more sustainable industry and supporting the next generation of concrete professionals by participating in the ACI Foundation Annual Fall Appeal. One hundred percent of mission-directed donations go to the beneficiaries—students, research, and technology. Contributions to the ACI Foundation are an investment in the concrete industry.
